Madrid

• Board your overnight flight to Spain and arrive in Madrid on the following day
• Meet your Spain Prep Tour Director at Madrid airport
• Board your bus and travel to your accommodations in downtown Madrid. As Spain's cosmopolitan capital city, Madrid continually captures the hearts of its visitors with world-famous museums, historic buildings and lively plazas
• Have lunch and then have a visit of Madrid historical city center.
• Visit Puerta del Sol, the city’s bustling central square and admire the elegant architecture and vibrant street life at Plaza Mayor. See the magnificent Palacio Real The Palacio Real, considered one of the finest palaces in Europe
• Real Madrid Stadium Tour. The tour is self-guided and includes: a panoramic view, the “Best Club in History” room, the Sensations Room, the pitch, the presidential box, the dugouts and technical area, the players' tunnel, the dressing rooms, the press room and the club's official store.

Madrid - Segovia

• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader
• Excursion to beautiful medieval Segovia for the 2,000-year-old, 98-foot-high Roman aqueduct and the almost fairytale-like castle of the Alcázar
• Back in Madrid, have some free time for shopping before dinner


March 26


Madrid - Toledo

• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader
• In the morning, take a tour of the Museo del Prado, Spain’s national art museum, home of works by Spain's great masters, including Francisco Goya, Diego Velázquez, and El Greco.
• Board your bus and travel to Toledo
• Spend the day at Spain's first capital, Toledo. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1986, this is the city that inspired Renaissance painter El Greco in the 16th century. Since then it has remained largely unchanged in its blend of Arabic, Jewish, Christian and Visigothic elements. 
• Board buses for our trip back to Madrid. Have some free time for shopping before dinner



March 27


Mérida - Aracena Mountains

• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader
• Board private bus and head to Mérida. We'll visit the monuments and archaeological remains in Mérida, which provides a chance to delve into one of the most interesting periods of history – to travel back in time from the 21st century and experience the splendour of the Roman Empire. The highlight of the visit will be The Roman Theatre, Europe’s best conserved and the only one which, after being reconditioned, continues to be the setting for theatrical representations and recitals
• Travel to accommodations in a picturesque area, nestled in the mountains of the Aracena State Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve
• Check in at your accommodations and enjoy some free time before dinner

Aracena Mountains

• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader
• Visit an organic sustainable farm, where you will engage in hands-on culinary activities: picking vegetables from the garden, cheese making, baking local pastries and bread. 
• After lunch, learn about sustainable farming and environmental protection through a series of fun activities at the farm
• Back to the hotel for dinner

Sevilla

• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader
 • Travel to nearby town of Aracena and visit Gruta de las Maravillas (Cave of Marvels), a spectacular natural landmark. Explore chambers of stalagmites and stalactites, limestone ceilings and interior lakes.
• Have some free time to enjoy a stroll along the streets of the village or to do some shopping
• Return to accommodations for lunch
• Board bus and travel to Sevilla’s city center
• Meet host families. During the homestay program, breakfast and dinner will be with the host family. Box lunch will be prepared by family daily. 




March 30


Sevilla

• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader
• Spend a half day visiting and attending classes at a local school. You will meet with your Spanish buddy, accompanying them in their classes.
• Visit a traditional farmers market, located on the remains of an ancient castle. (guided)
• Spanish tapas cooking workshop
• Stroll along the historic banks of the Guadalquivir river
• Free time to do some shopping
• Return to host families in the evening

March 31


Sevilla

Picture

• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader
• Today you will have a guided sightseeing tour that includes Sevilla’s cathedral, the Alcazar (Europe’s oldest active royal palace), Santa Cruz historic Jewish quarter and Maria Luisa's Park (guided)
• Free time to stroll through the historic city center and do some shopping
• Visit the Museum of Flamenco and then attend a live performance on site
• Return to host families after the show



April 1


Return

• Transfer to Sevilla airport
• Board your flight back home
