• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader • In the morning, take a tour of the Museo del Prado, Spain’s national art museum, home of works by Spain's great masters, including Francisco Goya, Diego Velázquez, and El Greco. • Board your bus and travel to Toledo • Spend the day at Spain's first capital, Toledo. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1986, this is the city that inspired Renaissance painter El Greco in the 16th century. Since then it has remained largely unchanged in its blend of Arabic, Jewish, Christian and Visigothic elements. • Board buses for our trip back to Madrid. Have some free time for shopping before dinner |

• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader • Board private bus and head to Mérida. We'll visit the monuments and archaeological remains in Mérida, which provides a chance to delve into one of the most interesting periods of history – to travel back in time from the 21st century and experience the splendour of the Roman Empire. The highlight of the visit will be The Roman Theatre, Europe’s best conserved and the only one which, after being reconditioned, continues to be the setting for theatrical representations and recitals • Travel to accommodations in a picturesque area, nestled in the mountains of the Aracena State Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve • Check in at your accommodations and enjoy some free time before dinner |

• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader • Visit an organic sustainable farm, where you will engage in hands-on culinary activities: picking vegetables from the garden, cheese making, baking local pastries and bread. • After lunch, learn about sustainable farming and environmental protection through a series of fun activities at the farm • Back to the hotel for dinner |

• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader • Travel to nearby town of Aracena and visit Gruta de las Maravillas (Cave of Marvels), a spectacular natural landmark. Explore chambers of stalagmites and stalactites, limestone ceilings and interior lakes. • Have some free time to enjoy a stroll along the streets of the village or to do some shopping • Return to accommodations for lunch • Board bus and travel to Sevilla’s city center • Meet host families. During the homestay program, breakfast and dinner will be with the host family. Box lunch will be prepared by family daily. |
March 30
• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader • Spend a half day visiting and attending classes at a local school. You will meet with your Spanish buddy, accompanying them in their classes. • Visit a traditional farmers market, located on the remains of an ancient castle. (guided) • Spanish tapas cooking workshop • Stroll along the historic banks of the Guadalquivir river • Free time to do some shopping • Return to host families in the evening |

• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader • Today you will have a guided sightseeing tour that includes Sevilla’s cathedral, the Alcazar (Europe’s oldest active royal palace), Santa Cruz historic Jewish quarter and Maria Luisa's Park (guided) • Free time to stroll through the historic city center and do some shopping • Visit the Museum of Flamenco and then attend a live performance on site • Return to host families after the show |
