Day 8 - Tarifa and Whale Watching
Today was the last full day of activities in Spain. After breakfast, the group left the hotel and headed for Tarifa. Tarifa is the southernmost town in Spain, its beach is only 10 miles away from Africa. It was a beautiful day, so we were able to see Africa's mountain's in the horizon. The students spent some time walking in Tarifa's historic city center before boarding the boat to watch whales and dolphins in the Straight of Gibraltar.
During the ride, we were able to see three species of dolphins and a pod of pilot whales
After a fun day in Tarifa, we had a paella dinner for our last night in Spain
