Day 4 - El Prado and Toledo
Fieldston started the day with a visit to Museo del Prado, Spain’s national art museum, home of works by Spain's great masters, including Francisco Goya, Diego Velázquez, and El Greco. After El Prado, they visited Spain's first capital, Toledo. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1986, this is the city that inspired Renaissance painter El Greco in the 16th century. Since then it has remained largely unchanged in its blend of Arabic, Jewish, Christian and Visigothic elements.
