Days 1-2


USA - Sevilla

Picture

​• Arrive at Sevilla airport and meet your Tour Director and Team Leader
• Meet host families. During the homestay program, breakfast and dinner will be with the host family. Box lunch will be prepared by family daily. 
• Spend the rest of the day with your host family

Day 5


Day at Local School

​• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader
• Spend a day visiting and attending classes at a local school. You will meet with your Spanish buddy, accompanying them in their classes.
• Kayak, bike or walking sightseeing tour together with local Spanish students

• Return to host families 

Day 3


Monuments

​• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader
• Have a sightseeing tour that includes Sevilla’s cathedral, the Alcazar (Europe’s oldest active royal palace), and Santa Cruz historic Jewish quarter.
• Free time to stroll through the historic city center and do some shopping
 • Return to host families

Day 6


Gate to America

​• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader
• Board your bus and travel to Palos de la Frontera (Huelva).
• Visit Monasterio de Santa María de La Rábida where Christopher Columbus visited in 1490 to plan his discoveries.
• Visit Muelle de las Carabelas, the very place from where Columbus sailed out in 1492 to discover America.  See (and get on board) the replicas of the Niña, Pinta, and Santa María, the ships Columbus commanded on this 1st trip
• Spend the evening at the Beach in Hueva.
• Return to host families

Day 4


Sustainable Farm

​• Visit Sustainable Honey Bee Farm and learn about bee keeping
• Cooking workshop at the farm 
• Return to host families


Day 7


Flamenco

​• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader
​• Visit Parque de Maria Luisa, and Sevilla's largest monument Plaza de España
​• Explore the Fabrica de Tabacos, the original setting of Bizet's opera Carmen, now the headquarters of the University of Sevilla
​• Flamenco dance Masterclass at local professional studio 
​• Return to host families

Day 8


Farewell Paella Party

• Participate in a paella party with all of your friends and host families
• Rest of the day with host families.

Day 9


Sevilla - USA

​• Transfer to Sevilla airport
• Board your flight back home
