Days 1-2


NYC - Sevilla

Picture

​• Arrive at Sevilla airport and meet your Tour Director and Team Leader
• Board bus and travel to Sevilla’s city center
• Meet host families. During the homestay program, breakfast and dinner will be with the host family. Box lunch will be prepared by family daily. 

Day 5


Day at Local School

​• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader
• Spend a day visiting and attending classes at a local school. You will meet with your Spanish buddy, accompanying them in their classes.
• Walking tour in Triana
• Kayak sightseeing tour 
• Return to host families 

Day 3


Monuments

​• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader
• Have a sightseeing tour that includes Sevilla’s cathedral, the Alcazar (Europe’s oldest active royal palace), and Santa Cruz historic Jewish quarter.
• Visit Sephardic interpretation center to learn about Jewish heritage and cuture in medieval Spain.
• Free time to stroll through the historic city center and do some shopping
 • Return to host families

Day 6


Córdoba

​• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader
• Take AVE train to Córdoba. In Cordoba we will get to see the Mezquita, a magnificent World Heritage medieval mosque. 
• Visit La Casa Árabe interpretation center to learn about Arabic heritage and culture in Spain.
• Take AVE train to Sevilla in the evening
• Return to host families

Day 4


Animal Rescue Center

• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader
• Travel to an animal rescue center in the Doñana National Park area, you will learn about endangered species. There will be an opportunity to volunteer in tasks such as bird tagging.
• Return to host families

Day 7


Sustainable Farm

​• Meet your Spain Prep Tour Director
​• Visit Sustainable Honey Bee Farm and learn about bee keeping
• Cooking workshop at the farm
• Visit Europe's largest Wind Farm to learn about 
this clean sustainable energy source
• Board bus to El Palmar Beach
 • Accommodation in local hostel/hotel (two nights)



Day 8


Surf Classes & Whale

• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader
• Surf class and practice at local surf school
• Whale-watching boat ride, learn about Oceans protection
• Visit the beautiful medieval town of Vejer de la Frontera
• Farewell Paella Party by the sea

Day 9


Sevilla - NYC

• Board your flight back home

* Some activities are much requested and are subject to availability - when an activity is not possible to book, it will be replaced by a suitable activity chosen by your group leaders. Guided visits of museums are subject to availability and when possible, audio guides will be arranged in replacement.
