Days 1 - 2
• Board your overnight flight to Spain and arrive in Madrid on the following day • Meet your Spain Prep Tour Director at Madrid airport • Board your bus and travel to your accommodations in downtown Madrid. As Spain's cosmopolitan capital city, Madrid continually captures the hearts of its visitors with world-famous museums, historic buildings and lively plazas • Have lunch and then have a visit of Madrid historical city center. • Visit Puerta del Sol, the city’s bustling central square and admire the elegant architecture and vibrant street life at Plaza Mayor. See the magnificent Palacio Real The Palacio Real, considered one of the finest palaces in Europe • Accommodation in Madrid (hotel/hostel or apartment) |
Day 3
• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader • Take a tour of the Museo del Prado, Spain’s national art museum, home of works by Spain's great masters, including Francisco Goya, Diego Velázquez, and El Greco. • Travel to beautiful medieval Segovia for the 2,000-year-old, 98-foot-high Roman aqueduct and the almost fairytale-like castle of the Alcázar • Accommodation in Madrid (hotel/hostel or apartment) |
Day 4
• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader • Board your bus and travel to Toledo • Spend the day at Spain's first capital, Toledo. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1986, this is the city that inspired Renaissance painter El Greco in the 16th century. Since then it has remained largely unchanged in its blend of Arabic, Jewish, Christian and Visigothic elements. • Accommodation in Madrid (hotel/hostel or apartment) |
Day 5
• Take AVE train to Córdoba In Cordoba we will get to see the Mezquita, a magnificent World Heritage medieval mosque. A walk along its winding streets and flowery patios will complete an unforgettable visit to this magical town. • Take AVE train to Sevilla in the evening • Meet host families in Sevilla. During the homestay program breakfast and dinner will be with the host family. |
Day 6
• Meet your Tour Director and Team Leader • Today you will have a guided sightseeing tour that includes Sevilla’s cathedral, the Alcazar (Europe’s oldest active royal palace), and Santa Cruz historic Jewish quarter. • Free time to stroll through the historic city center and do some shopping • Accommodation with host family in Sevilla |
Day 7
Hands-on cooking lessons, where you will learn how to make delicious traditional Spanish dishes. These 3-hour workshops include a trip to a typical local market to select the ingredients for the dishes you'll be preparing. Day 8
Attend authentic live perdormances of flamenco dance and music. If you wish to take it to the next level, we offer intensive flamenco courses, too! • Accommodation with host family in Sevilla |
Day 9
Day trip to Sanlúcar de Barrameda, a culinary jewel in southern Spain. A town famous for the quality of its fresh tapas, as the seafood is captured daily right off its shore. This town is also home to several world-class Sherry wineries, which we will visit on a guided tour. • Accommodation with host family in Sevilla |
Day 10
• Explore Doñana State Park hiking its trails followed by a fun and scenic camel ride. • Spend the rest of the day at the beautiful sandy beach of Matalascañas • Accommodation with host family in Sevilla |
Learn everything about olive oil history and production in this visit to a 16th century olive oil mill. We will tour its facilities and farm, and will also enjoy a traditional breakfast. • Accommodation with host family in Sevilla |

Visit Ronda, a city steeped in history and graced by magnificent vistas. Ronda’s most famous attraction is the Puente Nuevo, an incredible bridge which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the deep ravine below. Looking across the ravine to the exquisite Moorish old town are whitewashed houses clinging to the hillside, making this one of Spain’s most picturesque ‘Pueblos Blancos’. • Accommodation with host family in Sevilla |

This is the perfect excursion for Spanish ham (jamón) lovers. We will visit a family-owned farm, located in the mountains of Aracena. This privileged enclave is home to some of the finest Spanish charcuteries you can find. We will learn all about jamon production, from the farm to the plate. |
