Day 5 - Mérida

Hewitt boarded the bus and headed for southern Spain, with a stop in Mérida, where they visited the monuments and archaeological remains. The highlight of the visit was The Roman Theatre, Europe’s best conserved and the only one which, after being reconditioned, continues to be the setting for theatrical representations and recitals. After lunch, travel to accommodations in a picturesque area, nestled in the mountains of the Aracena State Park.
